*VCA is the abbreviation for Veiligheid, gezondheid en milieu Checklist Aannemers, which translates in English to: SCC – Safety Health and the Environment (SHE) Checklist Contractors. SCC-certification is intended to provide contractors a greater safety awareness in order to reduce the number of accidents in a high-risk work environment (e.g. construction sites).
